Second Gathering of the Furtula Brotherhood – Pale 2026

We are pleased to announce the Second Gathering of the Furtula Brotherhood, which will be held on August 8, 2026, in the municipality of Pale, Republika Srpska.

This gathering continues the brotherhood’s tradition of meeting, getting to know one another, and strengthening family ties. The assembly is an opportunity for members of the brotherhood and their families to come together, share stories, memories, and new knowledge about their origins, and to celebrate the sense of unity that has endured for generations.

We invite all members of the brotherhood, their families, and friends to join us. We also encourage you to share information about the gathering on social media and invite those who may not yet be familiar with the event. The more of us gather, the stronger the assembly becomes as a symbol of unity.

By completing this form, you express your interest in participating in the gathering. After receiving your application, the organizers will send you all the necessary information, including event details, participation payment instructions, and contact information. The instructions will be adapted depending on whether the payment is made from within Bosnia and Herzegovina or from abroad.

We kindly ask all interested members of the brotherhood and their families to announce their participation as early as possible so that this year’s organizers can plan the required capacities in a timely manner.

The participation fee per person is not yet known, as the organization of this year’s gathering has only just begun. The participation payment is intended to cover the organization of the event, the venue, food, and other related expenses. The payment will be considered a confirmation of participation.

Important note: In Bosnia and Herzegovina, international payments are subject to a transfer fee of approximately 20.00 BAM (or 10.00 EUR). Therefore, members of the brotherhood from Montenegro and Serbia, as well as those living abroad, are advised to make group payments in order to reduce transfer costs.

Accommodation

Members of the brotherhood coming from other regions are advised, if possible, to arrange short-term apartment rentals or hotel accommodation.

In Pale and on Jahorina there is a wide selection of accommodation options at different price levels, so everyone can find something that suits their needs and budget. Reservations can be made through platforms such as Booking or Airbnb.

This is also an opportunity to visit and become familiar with the areas where the Pale branch of the Furtula family settled and where the brotherhood continues to live today.
